Learn MoreCreating MemoriesThank you, Karen! Our honeymoon far exceeded our wildest expectations. The private cruises were some of our most memorable moments, but it is so hard to decide which of our gorgeous destinations that you picked for us our favorite was! We will always trust you, Karen, for our future destinations! Simply incredible!
Patience, Guidance, AssistanceRecently planned – and PULLED OFF a unique trip to New York City with 19 of my students. It would not have been the success it turned out to be without Sandrine at Maupin Travel. The patience, guidance and assistance offered every step of the way was top-notch, and the customer service exceeded expectations. Looking forward to continued business with Maupin. THANK YOU.
Stress FreeGetting married in 2020 and planning the honeymoon was definitely a challenge. Luckily, Maupin Travel was AMAZING in helping me find a place outside the US that was both welcoming of Americans, and safe!
Our trip to the Maldives was INCREDIBLE. We had to show a negative covid test to get into the Maldives and at the resort (Ayada) we got our temperatures checked daily. This made us feel very comfortable being abroad during this time.
Excited for the next adventure! Until then, we’ll be applying aloe, and fighting jet-lag.
Definitely! We love bundling items for our clients and removing the stress of travel planning. We have access to a wide range of travel partners to deliver you everything from airline itineraries and hotels to excursions, trains, ferry transfers, pre- and post-cruise accommodations, etc.
Both! Our consultants have many years of experience and regularly travel the globe themselves. Each consultant tends to specialize in certain regions (e.g., Australia, Italy, etc.) and products (e.g., river cruises, safaris). We will direct you to the consultant most suited to craft your trip.
We are compensated in two ways: consulting fees from customers and commissions paid by our vendor partners. We have long-term clientele who trust us to recommend the best options for themselves and their families.
Many of the world’s most fascinating & exclusive destinations – including Africa, the Galapagos, and Australia – often book up 12-15 months in advance, as well as peak travel times. If you are planning for a milestone celebration or a specific destination, earlier is usually better.
We find the sooner you can make a decision on a “hot” destination, the better chance we have of ensuring you have the hotels, tours and experiences you want.
Most airline schedules are released 330 days out so flights can be booked after that point.
We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance, as it helps to protect you and your travel investment. Most travel insurance plans include benefits such as trip cancellation, interruption or delays, medical, dental, emergency medical transportation, lost luggage, missed connections, itinerary changes, and more. We have access to various travel insurance policies, so you’ll be able to choose the option that best fits your needs.
While clients have an abundance of choices across the internet, our agents have unique experience and knowledge to help you craft your perfect vacation. We assist you throughout the trip planning process and intervene when you encounter unexpected issues while traveling. Our strong relationships with our travel partners ensures that you have a VIP experience and receive special amenities (i.e. complimentary room upgrade, wine in your room, etc.) whenever possible.
With our team, you always have an expert to talk to about trends, hotspots, and insider information. Our agents are educators who advocate on your behalf to save you time, money, and headaches, while delivering travel experiences that you cannot get on you own.
